A Conversation with President Walker and Former President Staples

In celebration of UHCL's 50th anniversary, you are invited to hear a conversation between UHCL's current president, Dr. Richard Walker, and UHCL's longest-serving president, Dr. William Staples. As UHCL's fourth president, Dr. Staples began his term in 1995 until he retired in 2017. Bring your colleagues and friends to hear about the university's history from a past perspective and how it compares to a present perspective. Learn more about the early days of the campus, the growth and expansion of the university, important achievements, and what the future holds for UHCL. This event is free and open to the public.
