HSH Scholar Series: South America's Eden: A Migrant History of Urban Amazonia

The College of Human Sciences and Humanitites' (HSH) Scholar Series is a series of monthly faculty-led presentations on a range of topics related to faculty-led research within HSH. Each presentation will take place at Hawk's Overlook in Neumann Library.

Dr. Thais Sant'Ana, an assistant professor in the history program, will lead the April presentation. She will share knowledge from her many years of doing archival and field work in the Brazilian Amazon, where she has been delving into histories of migration as well as urban and environmental processes in 19th and 20th century.
