Storytelling in Turbulent Times
In collaboration with the Writing Center and UHCL Storytellers, UHCL's Common Reader Program presents this storytelling event. In tandem with The Other Wes Moore's exploration of community cohesion in times of crisis, Dr. Baldwin and her storytelling students will host a workshop on Oct. 28 on writing and performing stories that explore how current events have impacted participants' identities and communities.
The Writing Center will then host optional sessions to help students use digital recording equipment to record their stories. On November 18, students will screen their video recordings during an online performance.
Part 1: Life Writing: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2-3:30 p.m.
