USSR 102: The Soviet Experiment (1939-1964) (Postponed)
Come join Kimberly in Part 2 of this fascinating story as we time travel back through the fundamental changes of World War II and the essential alliance between the USSR and the US to defeat the fascist threat to the world. How was it before the 1950s? Why did it change? In this class, we will explore how the Soviet Union experienced World War II, how the country endured the final years of Joseph Stalin’s reign, and why Khrushchev was so fascinated with American corn (among other things).
