Study PAWS: Pet. Relax. Repeat.

Stressing out about midterms? Pet Away Worry and Stress (PAWS) during your studies. The Study PAWS program allows students to interact with registered therapy dogs as a means of reducing the stress and anxiety that mid-terms can induce. Studies show that interacting with an unknown dog for just five minutes can reliably lower blood pressure and stress-related hormones, slow down heart rate, release tension from muscles and regulate breathing. Students, faculty and staff who need a study/work break filled with unconditional love are encouraged to stop by to play and cuddle with on-hand therapy dogs during the following time:

Thursday, Nov. 29 from 3 - 4:30 p.m.
Neumann Library, Bayou Building 2402

The library is a proud partner of Faithful Friends, a regisred dog volunteer group for this program.
