Changing Immigration Policies and the Impacts of Childhood Trauma
Children and families at the U.S. southern border have been impacted by changing immigration policies. Staying aware of policy changes for those seeking asylum in the U.S. will help provide more insight to trauma experienced through the migration journey. In this presentation, updated information will be provided on forced child separation, detention center status, and family reunification procedures.
