A Primer in Gravitational Physics 101
How did the universe begin? How do we know what we think we know about the history of the universe? How can we test our theories? These are fundamental questions we have all wondered about at some time. Let's learn with Professor David Garrison on Friday, Feb. 12, at 9:30 a.m. as he shows us how to use conventional astronomy, Einstein's theory of relativity, lots of large machines and supercomputers to answer our questions. Dr. Garrison's goal today is to make this accessible to all, including those without a background in physics or astronomy.
This presentation is part of the Friday Morning Continuing Education series.
